Henri Rousseau - ‘Tiger in a Tropical Storm’

In the first project, children will be exploring the use of watercolours, oil pastels and soft pastels to create their own creative collaged response to Henri Rousseau’s painting ‘Tiger in a Tropical Storm’.

They will be introduced to the history of the painting and post-impressionist painter, Henri Rousseau. They will be taught how paintings use the background, middleground and foreground to create an interesting composition.
